About the Journal

Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Raushan Fikr (P-ISSN 2354-9688, E-ISSN 2548-5393)
Raushan Fikr is a multidisciplinary academic journal published by the Institute for Student Studies and Empowerment, UIN Prof. KH. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto. The journal accommodates both textual and fieldwork-based research across a wide spectrum of disciplines, including law, philosophy, mysticism, history, art, theology, and related areas.
Originally conceived as a platform for disseminating undergraduate and graduate student research—particularly theses—from various academic departments within the university, Raushan Fikr has since broadened its scope. As the journal's visibility grew, it began to attract scholarly contributions from a wider academic community, both nationally and internationally.
Today, the journal showcases the work of Indonesian and international scholars alike, enriching its issues with a diversity of perspectives. Though it began with modest editorial standards, Raushan Fikr has continually refined its academic quality, editorial style, and peer review process. Submissions are accepted in Indonesian, Arabic, and English, with all manuscripts undergoing a rigorous and fair peer-review procedure.
Published biannually—in January and July—Raushan Fikr maintains a strong focus on Islam and Muslim societies, viewing Islam both as a theological framework and a cultural system practiced in diverse settings. The journal actively promotes thematic, comparative, and interdisciplinary studies, and serves as a dynamic forum for the exchange of scholarly ideas across different intellectual traditions.
