Repository Policy — Al-Ahla: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum dan Hukum Keluarga Islam

Al-Ahla: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum dan Hukum Keluarga Islam supports the principles of self-archiving and encourages authors to deposit their work in institutional, disciplinary, or public repositories to enhance the visibility and accessibility of academic research. The journal’s repository policy aligns with its Open Access Policy and Creative Commons License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

1. Versions Eligible for Archiving

• Submitted Version (Pre-print): The version submitted by the author before peer review may be deposited in a personal or institutional repository with acknowledgment of submission to Al-Ahla.
• Accepted Version (Post-print): The peer-reviewed, accepted version of the manuscript (after revisions but before journal formatting) may be deposited in a repository immediately after acceptance.
• Published Version (Version of Record): The final, published PDF version can be deposited in repositories immediately after publication with proper citation and link to the journal’s website.

2. Author Rights and Obligations

• Authors retain the right to self-archive any version of their article (pre-print, post-print, or published version) in institutional or public repositories, in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.
• When depositing the published version, authors must include the full citation and a link to the official article on the Al-Ahla website.
• Authors are encouraged to use institutional repositories, subject-based repositories (e.g., SSRN, OSF), and academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu) for broader dissemination.

3. Repository Policy Details

• Embargo Period: No embargo period applies. Authors may deposit any version immediately upon publication.
• License: Deposited works must clearly state that they are distributed under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
• Attribution Requirement: Proper acknowledgment of Al-Ahla: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum dan Hukum Keluarga Islam as the original source must accompany any deposited version.
• Permitted Uses: Repositories may store, display, and disseminate deposited works for non-commercial academic use only.

4. Technical and Metadata Standards

• Al-Ahla supports metadata harvesting through the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) standard.
