Author Fee — Al-Ahla: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum dan Hukum Keluarga Islam
Al-Ahla: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum dan Hukum Keluarga Islam is an open-access journal committed to promoting free and global access to high-quality legal and Islamic law research. To maintain sustainable open-access publishing and ensure professional editorial management, the journal applies the following author fee policy:
1. Submission Fee
No submission fee is required. Authors can submit their manuscripts to Al-Ahla free of charge. There are no fees for manuscript submission, initial editorial screening, or peer review.
2. Article Publication Fee
- Once a manuscript is accepted for publication after the peer-review process, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 (five hundred thousand rupiahs).
- This fee supports the journal’s operational and production costs, including peer review management, copyediting, layout design, DOI registration, proofreading, and online hosting.
- The editorial team will send detailed payment instructions after the article is formally accepted for publication.
- Authors will receive a digital publication certificate and confirmation of payment from the editorial office.
3. Waiver Policy
- Al-Ahla provides an opportunity for authors with limited financial resources to apply for a partial or full waiver of the publication fee.
- Waiver requests must be submitted before final acceptance and are evaluated based on the author’s institutional background and funding availability.
- Granting of waivers is at the discretion of the editorial board and does not affect the review process or editorial decision-making.
Summary: Submission to Al-Ahla is free of charge. Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication will be required to pay a publication fee of IDR 500,000. This fee supports the sustainability of the journal’s open-access model, ensuring all published research remains freely available to readers worldwide.
