Repository Policy — Al-Khadim: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat

Al-Khadim: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat encourages authors to deposit all versions of their articles in institutional, disciplinary, and public repositories to promote open access dissemination, transparency, and academic visibility.

1) Versions Permitted for Deposit

  • Preprint: Authors may deposit the submitted version of their manuscript (before peer review) in institutional or subject repositories.
  • Postprint (Accepted Version): Authors may upload the accepted, peer-reviewed version (before typesetting) to personal or institutional repositories.
  • Publisher’s Version (Final PDF): Authors may deposit the published version of their article immediately after publication, provided that Al-Khadim is properly cited as the original source.

2) Permitted Deposit Locations

  • Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in:
    • Institutional repositories (e.g., university libraries, research centers)
    • National repositories (e.g., Indonesia OneSearch, Garuda, Neliti)
    • Subject-based repositories (e.g., OSF Preprints, Zenodo, SSRN)
    • Personal websites and academic networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu, Google Scholar)

3) Licensing and Attribution Requirements

  • All deposited versions must include full bibliographic citation of the published article in Al-Khadim.
  • The DOI link of the original article must be included to ensure proper attribution and discoverability.
  • Deposited works must comply with the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

4) Policy Compliance and Alignment

  • The repository policy of Al-Khadim complies with SHERPA/RoMEO’s Green Open Access standards.
  • The journal’s metadata is openly accessible and interoperable via OAI-PMH for indexing and repository harvesting.
  • This policy aligns with Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and promotes free and ethical dissemination of scholarly works.
